Returns & Repairs
Your satisfaction is incredibly important to us.
Due to the personalized nature of our work, we do not accept returns unless our craftsmanship is in question. If you notice a problem with your piece, we must be contacted via email within 48 hours of your receiving your shipment. We will work with you to make sure your order is up to the standards you would expect from The Pretty Peacock. If you contact us after the 48 hour inspection time frame, we can discuss your options based on the problem at hand.
Our jewelry is handmade and the lettering is typically done letter-by-letter at the time an order is placed. The lettering may not be perfectly straight and the spacing may not be exact, however we do not consider this a flaw. The beauty of handmade pieces is that they do not look machined. An actual human being created your piece of jewelry with great care and pride and the artisan’s own unique qualities show through.
We do our absolute best to provide accurate, detailed descriptions of our jewelry on our site. We understand that it may be difficult to picture what an inch or 20mm looks like, however we try and photograph each piece on a model and rely on you to carefully review each description before ordering. We do not accept returns based on issues with size, or thickness. Computer monitors vary, so our up close photographs of each of our pieces do not appear in ‘actual size’. On the same note, stone colors can also differ depending on your monitor’s settings. These are aspects that are not in our control, so we do not accept returns based on size or color issues and rely on you to be a conscientious consumer.
If the craftsmanship of your PRETTY PEACOCK purchase is in question, or if there was a mistake made, please contact us and we will do whatever we can to remedy the situation.
Returns will not be accepted without prior written authorization from THE PRETTY PEACOCK. We cannot re-sell personalized pieces, so we do not generally accept returns.
Repairs
We work very hard to make sure that your piece is crafted with durability in mind. Jewelry is fragile by nature - getting it caught on a doorknob, or allowing your two year old to play dress up with your treasure is not a wise choice!
Common sense care is vital! Please do not wear your jewelry in hot tubs, swimming pools, or salt water. Doing so can cause irreparable damage to your jewelry.
If your new treasure breaks due to the craftsmanship of the piece, please contact us within 48 hours. We will be happy to discuss your options.
